Student Pilots License

Requirements for Private Pilots License.
Lasors 2007 from the CAA contains valuable information for student pilots, bringing together in one easily understandable book all flight crew licensing information.
The aim is to give pilots a one-stop reference for all aspects of safe aeroplane operation.

Some of the requirements listed in LASORS for a PPL license are:

25 hours* Dual Instruction on aeroplanes

10 hours Supervised solo flight time on aeroplanes, must include
5 hours Solo Cross-country flight time, which must include one Cross-country flight of at least 150nm, during which full stop landings at two different aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure shall be made as per

*Reduced to not less than 20 hours where an applicant has been credited for Pilot-in-Command flight time on other aircraft.
